A native of Coronado, CA. Paul traveled
extensively as a youngster throughout the U.S.A., Europe, Africa and
Mexico. These experiences greatly influenced him, contributing to his
visual creativity. His photographic
interests developed as a teenager in the 70's, while traveling into
Mexico by himself and with his best friend in a small plane on surf-foto
expeditions. He has always loved the culture of the Mainland and the
vastness of the Baja California Peninsula.
After graduating with honors and top
of his class from Brookes Institute, Paul moved to Milan, Italy, where
he began his first international magazine work. He later moved to
New York, where he continued working in the fashion and advertising
industries, often
traveling, living and working abroad.
In the early 90's Paul returned to
Mexico to live in the small fishing and farming village of Todos Santos
located about an hour north of Los Cabos on the Pacific. He was an
integral part of establishing Pueblo
Magico as the artist community it is now recognized.
His galleries, Mano
A Mano in Todos Santos and San Jose del Cabo represented
local and international artists, textilers and designers along with
his fine art photography. As Paul became more involved again in commercial
photography, he became one of the first Destination Wedding Photographers
in Los Cabos. He is published in, and works with many of the local
publications, wedding planners, professionals and world class resorts.
Paul continues to be involved in the creative expansion of the Baja
California Peninsula.
Sharing
his vision is Paul's passion... He loves the energy and dynamics of
the creative process which is unique to each situation. His conceptual
and stylistic approach to all of his work is a gift which defines
him as an individual and fine artist.
